ALPIN CHALET is a name, the registered trademark for our new designed holiday houses. Big, komfortable holiday houses, modern alpine style, at amazing location. No village. No club. Cosy like a hut! Open to nature like a loft. For individualists, who privately travel with several friends. Very comfortable for 12 to 18 persons. With more persons it's not that broad, but cheaper for the individual. Own sauna, big terrace, fantastic kitchen and generous living-eating-area. Always exclusively for the small, private group, who rents an ALPIN-CHALET together. Flatlet´s in Flachau & Flachauwinkl- extra sleeping room In Flachau & Flachauwinkl you have the possibility to rent an ALPIN FLATLET as an extra sleeping room in combination with the ALPIN CHALET - directly nearby the ALPIN CHALET´s - yet nervertheless having it´s own area. The ALPIN-FLATLETs are five small apartments in the south wing of the two ALPIN-CHALETs in Flachau & Flachauwinkl (further information please find under chalet - flatlet). They are perfect for families, who for example brings their grandmother with them, who likes to retreat into her own area, or you are all couples and one or two more double rooms would be perfect, ..., they are ideally positioned and arranged for such or similarly group of combinations. location in Filzmoos Where are the ALPIN CHALETS situated in Filzmoos? At this crossing you see first time very impressive the house mountain of Filzmoos - the Bischofsmütze (bishops hut). And at this crossing, Hotel Alpenhof is situated. If you know Flachauwinkl, you could remember the restaurant Ofentürl directly on the parking place in Flachauwinkl - just up to the right you will find our new chalets. 20 persons This is a fantastic concept. But aren't 4 sleeping rooms for 20 persons not too less? If you know each other well and/or many kids are accompaning, 20 or even 24 persons are no problem. The ALPIN CHALETS have 4 sleeping nests, each with shower/toilet, for total 16 persons. Further 3 rooms are furnished as living-sleeping areas – in the drawing "in red”: the Sun Room at the sauna (separated with 4 sleeping camps, shower and basin)., the ALPIN LOFT and the ALPIN ATRIUM with a further common toilet, basin and urinal. Only from 21st person, someone has to sleep at ALPIN ATRIUM and/or at ALPIN LOFT. In Flachau & Flachauwinkl you have the possibility to rent an ALPIN FLATLET as an extra sleeping room in combination with the ALPIN CHALET. The ALPIN-FLATLETs are five small apartments in the the ALPIN-CHALETs in Flachau (further information please find under chalet - flatlet). 5 couples We are 5 friendly couples and we like your concept. We want to have separated double rooms with double bed. How could it work? That works well, nearly perfect. In 4 sleeping nests each one couple, that's clear. For the 5th couple the double sleeping camp (french grandlits) at the 'Sunroom' next to the sauna is offered. This is a beautiful, very friendly room with a wintergarden-like window row to the terrace, own shower and basin. Pls. furthermore refer to above button. 4 families We are 4 families with 1 to 3 children, alltogether 14 persons and are interested in your chalets. How should we sleep? For this purpose the ALPIN CHALETS are designed. Without knowing the age of the children, it's hard to give an answer. But here some attempts: example 1: with small children: every family in a sleeping nest. example 2: The 6 children like to sleem in the sleeping ground - all children in one sleeping nest. The parents at the 3 further sleeping nests and at the 'Sun room' with a double sleeping berths each by two. example 3: With teens: The parent couples in each one sleeping nest and the teens in the sleeping berths, whereever they want. Two further examples for uncomplicated spontaneous groups of friends - you should/could not plan every detail. example 4: Open Chalet - „nothing is fixed“ - take the things as they come and in the sleeping place could be switched at any time. It's enough space. Cabin fever within one week is impossible. The sleeping nests are good and adequate possibilities to retreat for all. example 5: Only suggested for teens and adults. According to the theme „First come – first served“: Who beds first can choose Sleeping berths What is a sleeping berth? How long? How wide? How hard/soft? The red sleepin berths (in the drawing) are stringed with cushy draperies, padded like a couch, minimum 60 cm wide and 2m long. An adult can lie on it comfortably. And as the name implies - sleeping-berth – you can sleep on it well. Every sleeping nest has a cushion (pillow), a warm blanket and a cotton sleeping bag (a new lodge sleeping bag to slip in. For one week this should be ok for everyone. lodge sleeping bag What is a lodge sleeping bag? The lodge sleeping bag is a thin covering, like bed linen, with the same function – due to hygienical reasons. Every Guest (from 19 to 24 persones) gets a new lodge sleeping bag in original packing. This one can be taken with you. It's washable. In Austria, such lodge sleeping bags are obligatory in the sleeping rooms of mountain lodges. Who has an own sleeping bag is welcome to bring it with him, of course. children discount Do every nose count, also kids under 6 years? Are there discounts for kids or family tariffs? All Kids are counted as persons. There are indirectly discounts for kids, if total number of persons exceed 12. Surcharges for the additional persons from 12 onward are very favourable. This is comparable to a reduction of approx. 70 %. We virtually charge a contribution towards expenses for laundry and energy. This is our way to support young people and families. Family tariffs are available at booking with half board -> more under: Services - breakfast/HP Childproof and baby equipment The ALPIN CHALET´s are brand new and they have an absolutley safe construction. But of course they don´t replace a child minder. An oven is hot and can´t get removed. As good as it gets we have provided safeness for our little guests. Baby equipment in the ALPIN CHALET´s: height adjustable cot, highchair, swaddle place, nappy tub, tobbogan with backrest and an amazing baby buggy with winter tyres. For the staircases from the Alpin Loft to the Alpin Atrium below, we allocate a saftey barrier, on demand. group tariff Are there discounts for froups? Due to the gradation of prices from 12 persons onward, it is de facto a group tariff. half-board and breakfast We have always made vacation at hotels. Your Chalets catched our eyes. My sister with family and friends of us would like to join us, but we are not that fanatical cooks and would like to be spoiled, but do not to want to go outside. Now our question, how half-board is organized. Breakfast and dinner are ready prepared and delivered in hot containers to the chalet. The eatingbar table in the kitchen is used to arrange buffet and there you can serve yourselves. The catering dishes is picked up with next delivery. The delivery and return is effected very unobtrusively - like brownies have been working. But you have to organize serving, dishes, cutlery, glasses and washing it up. car Are the ALPIN CHALETS accessible by car? All ALPIN CHALETS are well accessible by car. In Filzmoos each Chalet has carports for five cars. In flachau & flachauwinkl there is a car deck under the Chalets also with five spaces for each house. rent by the day Is it possible to rent an ALPIN CHALET by the day? In the lowseason there are shorttrips for 3 days bookable, daily arrival. sea level What's the sea level of the ALPIN CHALET? The first two ALPIN CHALETS at Filzmoos-Neuberg are at 950 m sea level, in single location at border of a wood, at outskirts of a small village. In Flachau the ALPIN CHALET´s are at 927 m sea level, directly in the beginning of Flachau. In Flachauwinkl the ALPIN CAHLETS are at 1.016 m sea level, hillside situation above the ski station. close to lift Is the lift within walking distance? Yes. Two T-bar lifts connect Neuberg with Filzmoos. The ski area Filzmoos-Neuberg has 8 lifts. The ALPIN CHALETS at Filzmoos-Neuberg are quite exactly in between these 2 T-bar lifts: the Geierberglift and the Schwaigalmlift, each approx. 150 m away. You walk or slide over the cross-country slope. In Flachau the ALPIN CHALET´s are just a few meters away from the next two ski lift stations - Achter Jet and Space Jet, the ski school and the ski rental shop (approx. 400 m). And there is a ski bus station directly infront of the houses. In Flachauwinkl are 150 m to the cable car station Flachauwinkl - Zauchensee and to the ski bus stop -Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl - Kleinarl with the ABSOLUT PARK. linen and consumable material What do we have to bring along? Linen? Bathrobe? Toiletpaper? ... „must“: only your personal belongings. Everything else is available. Just like if you would arrive at a hotel. Beds are covered. The additional needed sleeping nests are prepared. For every booked person 2 bath towels and one small towel are available. Initial provision (towels, toilet paper, kitchen roll, washing liquid, ...) is included in price. Everything else is charged according to cost price. Details at link „Services“. It's at your choice whether you use the inventory of the Chalet or buy at yourselve and bring to the ALPIN CHALET. extras Which extra costs have to be expected? Additionally to the rental fee for the booked number of persons only the final cleaning will be charged with Euro 165,- Additional side cost, which are usually charged at other holiday houses and flats, like local tax, energy, linen, small towels, ..., are included in the rental fee. pre reservation – temporary option Thanks for your mail. We do like your offer very well. We are a mixed group with 15 to 20 persons. Until we reach everybody and know who will travel with us, we need some days. Could you give us a temporary option until end of next week? We grant groups like yours, in order to have some time to organize, a free-of-charge temporary option of up to 10 days. This should be sufficient normally. If you could come, it's perfect, if not, the chalet is without reservation again. We do not give this option automatically - if you would like to, please inform us at earliest. one hint from us, from experiences from first time: If you have the ok of the number of persons coming with you, for which the single price is ok, then you should book. This summer we have 4 ALPIN CHALETS available and in winter 2008/2009 8 ALPIN CHALETS and they are booked during 'hot time' quickly. If you made reservation, it's no problem to increase the number of persons (up to 24). The chalet is reserved for you in any case.
